Earlier this month I ventured to Arizona in what's fast becoming an annual pilgrimage for me. What brings me back? Just take a look at this long exposure I took from one of the peeks in northern Arizona in a beautiful part of the world called Sedona. This and great friends entice me to this corner of the globe every year.
I like to call this shot 'Mission Control' as it looks some what like a viewing platform to an alien colony somewhere out in the unknown universe. I get my inspiration, if you can call it that from visiting the Lowell Observatory earlier in the day. The romanticism of discovery and the prospect of viewing something entirely alien and new is pretty much why I love photography.
