During the last week of October I travelled to London in order to conduct a series of clothing brand street shoots. The first of which was for Drop Dead Clothing. I took this as an opportunity to develop a few new techniques and experiment a little. As you can see above I tried out some multiple exposures along with the use of a quirky prop (red stags skull). I have to add, transporting the skull from Devon to London and getting it there in one piece is a miracle in itself. I shot with my Nikon F100 film camera, 35mm prime lens and Ektar ISO 100 film.
After getting all of my shots back from the labs I'm really satisfied with the shots and I believe I met what I had intended to accomplish.
A huge thanks go to both Charlotte Norris and Simon Meadon for modelling the clothing for me. You guys really nailed it!
My second clothing brand shoot whilst in London was for Only NY. This shoot was a little more freestyle and I ended up just walking from South Bank to the Square Mile in the hope of encountering suitable backdrops to shoot with my model. Being in London there are no shortages of great streets and landmarks to shoot infront of. I conducted this shoot on my Nikon F100 camera, 35mm prime lens and Ektar ISO 100 film.
Thank you to Travis Alabanza for modelling. A point I must add is that Travis is a very talented poet and regularly does shows across London. Go check him out!
